Journey to an open heart

Work with your heart space

About the workshop

We often carry long-held anger, frustration or resentment with us. Many times this manifests as a cold, rigid feeling somewhere along the spine, or in the chest area. In this workshop, we aim to “thaw” this space, warm up the middle back and arrive at some emotional release along with physical openings and flexibility.

We will get in touch with our breath and expand it, warm up our core and awaken the spine with the help of yoga postures and flows. We will delve into heart opening poses, gradually going deeper and deeper, while constantly observing what is happening in the body and the mind.

We will cap the sessions with passive stretches, meditation or yoga nidra (deep relaxation). In a safe space, you can expect a sense of emotional cleansing and physical nourishment.
